Bikeline Racing was formed in 2008 as the new name of what was known as Club Bikeline. Since then the club has grown from strength to strength with an increased membership of over 200%.

This has partly been due to the club conducting far more races in the area targeting the huge increase in recreational cyclists and raising the awareness of the sport of cycling. This increase in local races has also led to a closer working relationship with Toowoomba Cycling Club and Highfields Rollers Cycling Club, ensuring members of all three local clubs are being catered for.

In 2010 Bikeline Racing's patron Kerry Cosgrove was instrumental in securing funding and the locality of the Toowoomba Criterium Circuit. The then Secretary of Bikeline Racing, Jon Lindley, was placed in charge of the Technical Committee who were responsible for the design and facilities of the complex.

This facility has secured the sport of cycling in Toowoomba for future generations and Bikeline Racing will ensure that the sport will continue to grow. 

The underlying principle of Bikeline Racing is to have fun. The sport and activity of cycling must always remain enjoyable, as this is the reason why most people started cycling.
